We are a 5th generation, family owned, full service renovation and construction company. We specialize in customized renovations of homes, churches, schools and commercial properties. Each of our customers receives specialized attention. Our success is the result of providing attentive and thorough service to each customer, as if they were our only customer.

Melissa Bean, Owner—Melissa is a Residential and Commercially licensed General Contractor whose family business has been custom home building for 4 Generations. Melissa has a BA in communications from Bowling Green State University, and years of industry experience. In addition to founding 5th Generation Painting and Contracting, she runs day-to-day operations. Melissa's right hand in the company is her husband Wayne, and they have 5 children. |

Wayne Bean, Project Manager—Wayne holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Georgia. Wayne worked his way through college in the residential home building business. Wayne is a paint and coatings chemist, and has worked in the industry for 25 years. He has unparalleled expertise with paint color and always knows the right products to use for your job. |

Larry Clark, Chief Project Manager—Larry is a Master Carpenter, with over 30 years experience in both commercial and residential contracting business. In addition to overseeing most of the 5th Generation construction jobs, Larry designs and draws the plans for many of 5th Generation's beautiful projects. |

Bob Stutrud, Controller--Bob manages the company finances and accounting. |

Skip Carlson is the General Manager and Project Manager for 5th Generation Contracting. Skip is recently retired from the healthcare field and has had extensive experience with commercial construction and project management – most notable is the remodeling project at Northside Hospital. Skip has a B.S. degree in Forest Engineering from Clemson University and served several years with the Peace Corps in Honduras C.A. |
