At 5th Generation, what you think has made the difference

See what some of our past, present, and future clients have to say about 5th Generation and the work we've done for them …

Customer becomes 5th Generation employee

"We had a plumbing disaster involving a faulty toilet connection in an upstairs bathroom. Water flooded the house for 8 hours and caused serious damage to more than half of our home. When I asked friends for contractor recommendations, we were given several names but the 5th Generation name was the only one that was given more than once. From our first meeting through the end of the project 3 months later, I was impressed by the Beans and their employees. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Most importantly, they were good people to be around. In fact, we became good friends, and I am now working for 5th Generation in the office."--Lisa Scott and Lisa Smith in Marietta, GA View Related Project(s)

"We see your signs and trucks everywhere!"

"I was looking for a Contractor to finish our basement. As I travel around East Cobb, I kept noticing 5th Generation Painting and Contracting signs and trucks everywhere. Finally I called Melissa. She and her team listened to our plan, gave us a lot of great advice, and did a great job on our basement. We wouldn't use anyone else to remodel our kitchen next year." "I can't remember when I've seen 4 guys work so hard"

"My wife and children went out of town last week. On pretty short notice, 5th Generation was able to begin, and complete my roof in 3 days! I've never seen 4 guys work so hard...it was humid, 94 degrees, with no clouds and little breeze. They even worked from 8am to 7pm on a Saturday to finish the job before my family returned home. They made the extra effort and got the job done right." Jon Barton in Roswell, GA View Related Project(s)

The only regret I have these days concerning our lengthy home remodeling project is that I was not aware of 5th Generation Painting and Contracting in 2003.

Your company came in and in few days made several high quality repairs, improvements and modifications and put some very obvious high quality “finishing touches” on our home. Leslie and I are very pleased not only with the quality of work your company did on our home but with the pleasant and genuine attitude you and your people employed throughout the process as you/they were entirely flexible with us concerning the hours they worked. The service you and your people provided us and the pleasant manner they provide it in is extremely unusual these days when the vast majority of contractors just want to “get the business, get in, do the work and get out and get paid” without paying much attention to detail. Please know that if one of your future prospective customers ever requests to talk to a previous client of 5th Generation Painting and Contracting that I would be happy to do so as well as invite them to our home to see, first hand, the high quality work you and your company provided Leslie and me. The only regret I have these days concerning our lengthy home remodeling project is that I was not aware of 5th Generation Painting and Contracting in 2003. Thanks very much for your support and the work your company performed on our home. Randy and Leslie Peterson in Acworth, GA View Related Project(s)

5th Generation was there to help

On Monday, I woke up to find my family room and office flooded. I didn't know who to call since I haven't had this awful experience before! After calling everyone I knew who knew anyone with water damage experience, I called all of the contractors who were already booked up for most of the week! I then called 5th Generation who had done a great job of remodeling for me. I thought, just maybe they knew someone I could call. Well, Melissa called a contractor they use and because of their relationship, he was able to 'fit me in' on Tuesday! Not only did Larry Clark from 5th Generation come over to help move the furniture, etc..., he looked at my property and recommended that I have the side of the house where the water came in resealed and waterproofed because it's showing some wear. [they don't do those kinds of jobs, of course...] Anyway, he stayed around to help with all the moving too. So, I wanted to share with all of you this email that tells about them. I don't know about you but once I've had a contractor, I haven't really seen them bend over backwards to help me when they had nothing to gain! So, I want to HIGHLY recommend you call them when you need any remodeling help. They're great and they go out of their way, obviously, to help you even after you're no longer a customer! It is my pleasure to recommend 5th Generation Contracting..

It is my pleasure to recommend 5th Generation Contracting as a firm to select whenever you are in need of home repairs. In April 2009, I had forty feet of a tree come through my master bathroom and into my bedroom. It was a nightmare, with rain continuing for several weeks. Melissa and Wayne Bean came to my home and I connected with them, feeling that I would be in good hands. Thanks to their firm and committed workers, I am most pleased with their work ethic and outcome. 5th Generation Contracting was there for me and can be for you. Sincerely, Joyce G.
